5) The forums have been opened on the interface site, though not all the categories and resources are open to the public or guest users. The courses and cartels will, however, remain only open to those participating. The electronic library is currently under construction.
6) INTENSIVE SUMMER 2009 SCHLINIC: The Schlinic is currently accepting submissions for a short intensive 2 month summer session to begin mid-June and ending mid Aug. 2009. The course-cartel will be on Logic, Set Theory, and Knot Theory and will choose its focus depending on those signed up to participate. It will meet three times per month over two months, with a concluding course set up to allow 'passers' to test the transmission of the cartel.
ADMISSIONS: the course is open to anyone and presupposes no previous knowledge. If you have already filled out an application form for a previous SCHLINIC semester, you will not need to do this again for any future course or cartel. For others not registered you will find the application forms on both the PLACE website and SCHLINIC interface. Please send this in as soon as possible so that we can establish early on how many people are to be enrolled. The course-cartel is also open to distance learners and will have a live feed and audio-visual recording at each meeting that will be stored in the library.
TUITION:$120 per cartel meeting for continuing students/ $150 per cartel for continuing professionals; all others somewhere in between.Full two month attendance: from $720.00 Intensive Cartel-Course will count as a 1/2 of a semester towards certification.
